The challenge
The old system's open design left large amounts of duplicate, inconsistent data. Several parties worked on the same installations with no clear structure for who owned what or who could do what.
Engineers out in the field also needed a mobile-first way of working that stayed out of their way, and the old system didn't give them that.
Our approach
- 01
Modular architecture
A feature-first design built on a rich domain model of fifteen entities and seven fixed user roles.
- 02
QR code as the entry point
Cross-company work between installers, owners, suppliers and inspectors starts from a QR code on the installation itself.
- 03
Permissions in order
Clear RBAC with multi-tenant company context and a four-eyes check on critical actions.
- 04
F-gas registration
A watertight compliance ledger for F-gases, migrated across from the legacy system in phases.
The result
The redesigned platform sorts out permissions and ownership, ends the duplicate data and gives engineers a mobile-first place to work. The F-gas registration is watertight, with an eight-phase roadmap running from management through to governance automation.
